I have no idea who this guy is, but I like what he is doing.

Former No Limit Soldier Mr. Serv-On has written a dating guide called Inside the Mind of Brothas: A Young Black Man’s Guide for Black Women Trying to Survive the Dating Game in Today’s Hip-Hop Generation.

He said, “With this book, I hope to teach women about today’s Black men in the Hip-Hop community, so that the playing fields are equal and every black woman will end up with the right guy.’

Mr. Serv-On also hopes that men understand women’s reactions to their actions.

“All in all, I hope through this book we learn about each other” he said.

While I doubt it’s usefulness for the average person, I think Kanye West’s new search engine is a smart business idea.

I won’t get into the technicalities, but it could be quite profitable if it’s handled correctly.

Jill Scott will be representing the curvy chicks when she enters the fashion game. She’s developing “The Butterfly Collection By Jill Scott“, a line of intimate apparel for plus size ladies. The line will be designed by Jill and marketed via the Ashley Stewart Brand.

As a bonus, Scotts Blues Babe Foundation will benefit from the association with Ashley Stewart Stores Community Foundation. So far they’ve launched a recreation center that was going to be closed due to funding issues. But with a donation of $100,000, the Cecil B. Moore recreation center was able to redo the bathrooms and swimming pools and provide new basketball courts and a new kitchen.

I’m been trying to get my well manicured hands on a copy of this since Monday when I reported that Tyler Perry’s Meet The Browns would be in theaters March 21st.

I guess the trailer is playing in movie theaters, because I sure haven’t seen it on TV. I haven’t been to the movies in awhile so this was my first time seeing it.

The thing I love about Tyler Perry is how smart he is. Half the country has no idea who he is yet he can put out a movie with little advertising and it will be number 1 in the box office. How many people have that kind of swag?

My business savvy tells me that it’s all about the list. It was really smart of him to build his mailing list while he was touring the country doing plays.
