How many times have you seen the preview for The Eye?

Well you can grab one of 10 certified movie posters on eBay.

The posters were signed by The Eye’s lead actors Jessica Alba and Alessandro Nivalo. Process will go toThe Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation which is an organization that seeks to prevent pediatric HIV infection and to eradicate pediatric AIDS through research, advocacy, and prevention and treatment programs.

The Eye comes out tomorrow.

“The Jalen Rose Foundation will award five college scholarships totaling $10,000 each to high school seniors residing in the city of Detroit, Michigan, who will begin college in the summer or fall of 2008. A minimum of one scholarship will be awarded to a student from Jalen’s alma mater, Detroit Southwestern High School. Each scholarship check will be payable to the accredited two-year or four-year college that the recipient has chosen to attend – the payment will be broken up into four installments ($2,500 per year) as long as the student remains in good academic standing with the college.”

If this sounds like it would float your boat and you have at least a 3.0 GPA then you can apply here. The deadline is April 30th 2008, but don’t wait until the last minute ok?

Busta Rhymes was given a $1,250 fine after pleading guilty to a DUI-driving under the influence of alcohol. He also got three years of probation and 10 days of community service for assaulting his former driver and a fan. He’ll also have to enroll in a DWI program.

Seems like a light sentence to me.

Hopefully this will inspire him. Maybe we’ll see more of this and less of the rough stuff.

Let’s start the day off talking about the $300,000 donation that Russell Simmons made to the Diamond Empowerment Fund. That foundation name is kind of ironic considering that some blogs have a diamond-related nickname for Russell Simmons that isn’t very nice, but here at Celeb Positive we try to keep that talk to a minimum. Let me clarify before assumptions are made. The Diamond Empowerment Fund provides resources for educational programs to help students in African countries where diamonds are mined.

Apparently the donation came from money that was raised from the Simmons Jewelry Green Initiative, which is a collection of bracelets made of green malachite and rough diamonds. I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt Russ, let’s just hope all these diamonds we are talking about are conflict free.
