Judge Mathis Calls for Kilpatrick to Resign

Written by Celebrity Blogger on March 31, 2008 – 3:32 pm -

judge-mathis.jpgI haven’t commented too much on Kwame Kilpatrick because the whole thing is just so ugly but I think there’s a lesson, or two, to be learned from the situation. Mainly what’s done in the dark will come to light.

Now the city of Detroit is in a hot mess, Kilpatick is in a mess, Christine Beatty is in a mess, and families are embarrassed, humiliated, and damaged. All over some sex? People really need to learn how to control their hormones, adultery is never excusable.

Now Kwame needs a legal defense fund and he turned to Greg Mathis, better known as “Judge Mathis“for assistance.

“I was contacted Wednesday afternoon (March 26, 2008) by Mayor Kilpatrick. He asked if I could serve on his legal defense committee. I informed him I support due process, but I could not support him.“This is the same type of deceit that has plunged our city into a deep crisis,” Mathis’s statement continued. “Not only do I not support him, but I recommend he resign so the city can heal and move forward.” Source

I wonder how the kids are doing in all this, not so much now, but what about in the future? How will their relationships be?

Barack Obama is Milk’s Favorite Cookie

Written by Celebrity Blogger on March 19, 2008 – 11:25 am -

Let me just state that I am so sick of the Presidential race. It wouldn’t be so bad if people played fairly, stuck to the points, and stopped trying to dig up dirt; but since that’s all it seems to be about, I’m not interested. I want to know why YOU are the best person, not why the other person isn’t.

That being said I am trying to avoid all political talk, but I couldn’t resist this…

MSNBC.com ran Obama’s speech on race. Ok, that’s fine.

They also ran advertisements. That’s fine too until you look at the ad.

What the heck? I’m sorry but that’s funny.

Nope, Don’t Expect Barack

Written by Celebrity Blogger on March 5, 2008 – 10:59 am -

I did think it was a little odd to announce that Barack Obama and his wife were going to attend a Broadway Opening.

But now it’s not going to happen, scratch that.

I guess after yesterday’s results he decided to place his prioritizes elsewhere.

Hillary vs. Barack Round 335

Written by Celebrity Blogger on March 3, 2008 – 1:17 pm -

Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are getting pretty clever.

Here are two different ads with the same theme.

First we have Hillary’s which implies that she’s the better choice due to her experience.

Now here’s Barack’s response which implies that experience doesn’t matter if you have bad judgment. Read more »
