Here’s Janet Jackson’s new video for Rock With U. I’m not really feeling this song as a single, but it will probably grow on me. If I was a party goer I could see myself dancing to this in a club.

As to be expected with any Janet video, it’s very sexual, but people are so desensitized today few will notice.

I’m happy for Janet Jackson because it’s been a rough few years for her musically.

Now I can say Ms. Jackson is officially back as her album Discipline was #1 with 178,010 units sold in it’s first week. This is her first #1 album since 2001’s All For You.

Erkyah Badu came in second with her album New Amerykah, Part One (4th World War) .

Congrats to both ladies.

Chante Moore will be back with an album this spring called Love The Woman.

According to her (shared) Myspace, “For those of you who have been waiting, be on the look out for Chante Moore’s new album LOVE THE WOMAN in stores April 2008 featuring production from Warryn Campbell, George Duke, Raphael Saadiq and more!”

Chante has been married to Kenny Lattimore since 2002 and I think it’s cute that they share a Myspace page.
