Martin Luther King III Expecting a Daughter

Martin Luther King III, son of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is expecting a daughter with his wife of two years. At the age of 50 he’s the oldest child of Dr. King and Coretta Scott King. He’s also the first to have a child.
Dr Isaac Farris Jr., president and CEO of the King Center, and first cousin of the King children, said:
“In light of the devastating losses that our family has suffered with the passing of Aunt Coretta and Yolanda, this is great news that a grand-child of Martin Luther King is coming into the world. Our legacy continues.”
King married in 2006 shortly after the passing of his mother, Coretta. This is the first time his marriage to Arndrea Waters has been made public. Oh no, let the drama begin. Let’s not focus on why the marriage was kept private, instead let’s celebrate that a child will be born.
