Is This Going to Sell?

Yea, old news but new question.
Is DMX’s gospel album going to sell?
I’d say he’d have a slight chance if he was going to come correct with it, but he’s releasing another album at the same time that’s very secular.
No judgements here, but seriously, how are you going to market a gospel album while stuff like this is coming out of your mouth.
“…now I’m gonna hit ‘em again — drop two albums on the same f—in‘ day, yo..” (emphasis mine)
Sure, he plans on keeping the lyrics clean, but still.
“…how ’bout that one? No songs about b—-es, no songs about robbing, just straight ‘Give God the glory.”
Jesus doesn’t like that kind of talk. But then again with all these “Sunday Christians” and false prophets he might be able to get away with going on TBN in order to give glory to God for his b****es.

I think he could pull it off, but only one album.
Almost all his albums have some spiritual tracks on them, wither a song or a prayer.
His first two albums had both. SO I would give it a listen.

Quite the contradiction. Probably wouldn’t work for me though.

I actually saw him in Concert ages ago with Jay-Z + MethodMan + RedMan + i was blown away by how Strong the Language was*

The Funny part was Jay-Z was touring with that Huge Early Hit he had Hard Knock Life f. a Choir of Little Kids - so the Audience was full of TeenyBoppers! Needless to say Mom + Dad got an earful of what Rap was all about*
I’d actually like to hear DMX Gospel album*

I guess it could work if he promoted it to a secular audience. I didn’t think about it like that.
