Erykah Badu’s album New Amerykah came out yesterday.

Today she’s throwing a charity dance party.

Badu, Q-Tip, and 9th Wonder will be at the Ghostbar in South Dallas tonight. All proceeds will go to B.L.I.N.D. (Beautiful Love Incorporated Non-Profit Development), the organization Badu established in 2003 to make positive social changes through economic, artistic, and cultural development.

The party is tonight from 8pm-2am. Tickets cost $25 and they will be selling them at the door. You can make reservations by calling 214-720-9909.

I’m not going to say who, but I recently told someone that Erykah Badu had an album coming out in February. They said “Right…how many times have we heard that? I’ll believe it when I see it”.
