You’ve been hearing the buzz for awhile and now the day has arrived.

Tonight at 8PM ABC will be airing A Raisin in the Sun staring Phylicia Rashad, Sanaa Lathan, and Sean Combs.

This should be good. I hope I remember to watch.

Tyler Perry fans can jump for joy as he’s continuing his movie-making streak.

Sanaa Lathan, Kathy Bates, Alfre Woodard and Rockmond Dunbar, are set to star in Tyler Perry’s movie The Family That Prays. There’s also talks that Jennifer Hudson may be in the film.

The movie starts filming in March, but you won’t have to wait forever to get your Tyler fix as he’s bringing Meet The Browns to the big screen as well.

I didn’t like Meet The Browns as a play. In fact I found it so long and boring that I fell asleep both times I tried to watch it. But in fairness, I’ll say that this movie might be better than the play, because I also didn’t like Why Did I Get Married? as a play but I enjoyed the movie.

We’ll see.

Meet The Browns comes to theaters March 21st.
